Those Voices
Many rattle my heart, you see
But few point to serenity
If I die before I wake
Perhaps my troubles the Lord will take

The Golden Fool
What you won’t for me
I would for you
Though fighting fear
Makes me the fool
With silence near
And forever free
Whole and not alone
Back to where the sun once shone

In Saturn Retrograde
I could sob at rain’s falling
Or the drowning of the leaves
I could wail at Dan’s demise
But there’s more to that than me
